So it's Your First Meeting...

Welcome! Here's what you could expect when you attend the first meeting: 

1. Voices off! Don't stress though, one of the officers will interpret the meeting. 
2. ASL immersion... Be prepared for flying hands! 
3. Partner work... Try to bring a friend who's willing to learn sign :)

 


What you can do before the first meeting: 


1. Try to learn to alphabet. We linked a great video below to get you started.
2. Bring paper and pen, or use a notes app on your phone!
3. Have a willingness to learn... Let's make this a fun environment for everyone.
4. Participate as much as you can! It's the best way to learn a language.
5. Think about why you are interested in ASL or what made you come to this meeting.
